Its responsibilities include the documenta exhibition, which takes place every five years, the Fridericianum, the documenta Archiv, and the documenta Halle. Your responsibilities: Assisting and supporting the curatorial team of documenta 16Communicating with the artists and other participants involved in documenta 16 and realizing the artistic worksSupporting the development of artistic projects, including those outside the scope of specific artistsAccompanying and hosting the artists and other participants of documenta 16Collaborating with other departments at documenta 16, especially production, communications, and international fundraisingNegotiating and collaborating with relevant institutions and cooperation partnersWriting reports for the processing of project-related fundingDocumentation of artistic projects (for the documenta archive) Your profile: A completed academic degree (diploma (university)/master's/magister) in one of the following fields: art history, cultural studies, curatorial studies, visual cultural studies, or visual communicationProfessional experience in art or cultural institutions, preferably in work teams and artistic project workAbility to conceptualize, create, and implement projectsAbility to work independently, initiative, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team, willingness to cooperate, and flexibilityGood written and spoken English, German is an advantage, other languages are welcomeClass B driver's license We offer you an interesting and responsible position in an internationally active team in the field of art and culture.
