The Sustainability Hub is the central competence, strategy and coordination unit for Bundesbank’s sustainability and climate-related work.While the Hub’s working language is English, the remainder of Bundesbank operates in German.Valuable work: your role with usYou will gain an insight into Bundesbank’s current work in the field of sustainability. You will support our experts in analyzing structural trends relevant for central banks, such as green and sustainable finance, physical climate risks, and biodiversity loss.You will support our experts in their contribution to international initiatives, including the Central Banks and Supervisors Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS)You will analyze the economic relevance of current extreme weather events, latest insights from climate science and the interaction with economic and fiscal policy. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to help develop data-driven tools for monitoring and visualizing various sustainability trends. Unique assets: your skills and qualificationsEnrolled as a student in economics or financeStudents from business, the natural sciences, political science, environmental studies, or a related field with a demonstrated background in economic topics are also welcome.
