From optimizing smart charging to predicting energy demand and improving customer experiences, data science powers our mission to make green energy easy and accessible for everyone. As a Data Scientist, you’ll help us uncover insights that shape products, optimize decisions, and drive sustainability at scale. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to turn complex data into simple, actionable outcomes — fueling Rabot’s growth and impact in the green energy ecosystem. What You’ll Do Analyze product and customer data to uncover insights that guide product development and business decisions.Partner with product teams to define metrics, track performance, and support data-informed prioritization.Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments to measure feature impact and user behavior.Develop data models, dashboards, and reports that make performance transparent and measurable.Translate ambiguous business questions into structured, data-driven analyses.Collaborate with engineers to build production-grade analytical and optimization models.Support the evolution of our smart charging and pricing intelligence, integrating models into operational workflows.Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, empowering teams to act on insights.What You BringMust-Have Experience Proficiency in SQL (e.g. BigQuery, PostgreSQL) for analyzing large datasets.Strong skills in Python for data analysis, modeling, and writing maintainable, production-quality code.Solid understanding of statistical methods, A/B testing, and experiment design.Experience analyzing user behavior data to support product and business decisions.Ability to structure complex business problems into clear analytical workflows.Strong communication skills — you can explain insights and trade-offs to non-technical teammates.Fluency in EnglishNice-to-Haves Experience with time series analysis, forecasting, or energy-related datasets.Exposure to optimization modeling, causal inference, or anomaly detection.Familiarity with cloud-based data infrastructure (Azure, GCP).Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.Experience working in cross-functional product teams (with PMs, engineers, designers).German language skills (a plus, not required).What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)You’ve developed a deep understanding of Rabot’s products, customers, and data ecosystem.You’ve delivered analyses that directly inform product strategy, feature design, or operational efficiency.You’ve contributed to improving data accessibility and quality across teams.You’ve enhanced our optimization and pricing models, driving measurable impact on smart charging intelligence.You’ve become a go-to partner for teams seeking data-driven decision support.What It’s Like to Work HereAt Rabot Energy, we believe in autonomy, collaboration, and purpose. You’ll join a dynamic, international team that values open communication, shared learning, and ownership over hierarchy. We move fast, experiment often, and make decisions based on data and impact.
