YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As a Controlling Excellence Professional (m/f/d) you support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of globally consistent controlling guidelines, particularly in areas such as P&L and overhead cost accounting. You take ownership of excellence initiatives by shaping and standardizing processes, structures, and systems globally—balancing visionary thinking with operational execution. You plan and deliver communication and training activities to support process rollouts and change management. You will collaborate actively within the Finance Excellence Team (Accounting, Controlling, IT) and the Business Architecture Team (BAT) Finance, with indirect coordination across other BAT interfaces. You will work closely with process owners in local subsidiaries and cross-functional teams, contributing to and occasionally leading international optimization projects in interdisciplinary environments. Additionally you document processes with direct linkage to operational system transactions using a BPM system (, BIC Cloud) and drive continuous improvement of end-to-end processes to enhance the value chain in collaboration with cross-functional teams. WHAT YOU BRING You hold a Master’s degree in business administration with a focus on Finance or Controlling or a comparable academic qualification. You have extensive professional experience in controlling, including collaboration with cross-functional departments and a proven track record in optimizing structures, processes, and systems within the controlling function. A strong analytical and process-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of business operations are vital for this position. You are proficient in SAP S/4HANA (CO module) with strong knowledge of planning, ERP, and reporting systems, complemented by advanced MS Office skills and a high level of digital fluency. You are a visionary thinker with a hands-on, solution-driven approach—capable of driving innovation and implementation with a high level of flexibility, ownership, and team spirit. You are experienced in international and cross-functional collaboration, combined with fluency in English and German and a high willingness to travel internationally.
