Funding for Innovators is a pre-seed investor providing equity and convertible loans to the most promising start-ups in our ecosystem. In addition to that our prototyping grant program helps start-ups build their first prototype like Isar Aerospace who used our grant to turn their vision into a scalable product. Based in Munich, we advance breakthrough technology with speed and focus.Your missionAs a Visiting Investment Analyst, you will be integral to our investment process.Your core responsibilities will include:Sourcing & Diligence: Identify and evaluate promising deep tech start-ups for pre-seed investment. Founder Meetings: Meet the most promising early-stage start-ups to assess potential and fit for our fund. Process Automation: Implement AI-workflows for the deal pipeline. Program Management: Coordinate our Prototyping Grants program for early-stage founders. Investment Analysis: Prepare investment presentations based on your due diligence. Infrastructure & Representation: Maintain our IT systems (Salesforce, Notion)Represent the fund at industry events to source new opportunities and connect with exceptional founders and investorsYour profileAcademic Background: Must be enrolled in a STEM field (e.g., engineering, natural science, computer science), ideally complemented by business expertise. Relevant Experience: A demonstrated interest or initial experience in venture capital, start-ups, or deep tech innovation.
