As a dynamic and growing software company headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our mission of making technology more reliable, sustainable, and efficient.YOUR TASKS Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions Participate in month-end close process and prepare balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with preparation of the parent company's monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Assists in general financial management and analysis Preparation and transmission of data for the monthly advance VAT return to the tax authorities Help establish a well-rounded accounting function covering all subsidiaries Identify areas for improvements in existing processes (esp. standardization, automation, digitalization) in accounting YOUR PROFILE Accounting degree or similar with a focus on finance and accounting 5+ years of total relevant experience, accounting in accordance with HGB and German tax regulations. Tax knowledge (expertise in handling of advance VAT returns), collaboration with tax consultants. Strong time management and ability to manage competing priorities - goal/results and deadline-driven Precise, structured and independent way of working with high quality standards Team-player capable of working both collaboratively and independently with all levels of the organization Advances Microsoft Office skills, Excel-skills are a must.
