Research Software Engineer REMIND

Key responsibilities:
Explore and develop concepts and tools for software development for model environments Develop and implement solutions for coupling models Expand the R-based open-source tools to handle various dynamic input data sources, handle model runs and generate and analyse model output Help researchers running models on the HPC (mostly R, python, Unix). Enhance transparency, reproducibility and reusability for the model workflows Improve accessibility and visibility of our work (e.g. documentation, tutorials, presentations)Requirements:
A Master's degree in Informatics, Computational Sciences, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field Profound experience in programming, preferably in R or python, GAMS experience would be an asset Fluency in version control management (e.g. git and github) Experience with HPC environments would be an asset Familiarity in scientific modeling and model coupling is an asset Experience in software engineering is an assetWe expect:
