Financial Program Analyst (m/f/d) Location: Wiesbaden Benefits:Attractive remuneration with regulated step increases according to the German collective tariff agreement (TV AL II) and additional performance bonusesVaried work in an international environment with responsibility for several locations within EuropeVacation and Christmas bonuses (a total of 13 monthly salaries)30 days vacation (additionally 24.12. and 31.12. are free)High work-life balance due to additional days off (8-9 U.S. holidays through redistribution of working hours)Flexible work time models and mobile workingAttractive social benefits (including company pension plan and capital-forming benefits)Opportunities for promotion within the companyGood commute routes and free parking on siteLocation-related extras (free company fitness center, health-oriented meals in the on-site canteen, American summer and so forth) Key responsibilities:Monitor the operation, data accuracy, and relationships between the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System [DCPDS] and the Defense Civilian Payroll System to identify trends and causal factors related to pay discrepancies.Review automated processes to ensure compliance with applicable pay laws, regulations, and proceduresDevelop and improve these processes to ensure an efficient workflowConduct specific studies and projects addressing salary issuesResearch, evaluate and resolve various customer inquiries and prepare correspondenceLiaison to the payroll department for US Army internal activities throughout the European area of responsibilityInvestigate and resolve payroll issues Qualification:Minimum requirement: Successfully completed lower secondary school diplomaSeveral years of professional experience in a similar functionStructured and very precise way of working as well as a high affinity for numbersBusiness fluent in German and English (level C2)Confident handling of Microsoft OfficeTeam spirit, flexibility and pleasure in working independentlyIf you are selected for this position, you must obtain a U.S. Army internal financial certification (FMC02) within two years of entering service U.S. Army Europe and Africa is the cornerstone of peace and freedom in Europe.
