This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in deal execution, valuation, and strategic thinking to impactful transactions that help shape the future of Heraeus Group.The following challenges await you: You advise Heraeus’ Senior Executives on inorganic growth opportunities for its Operating Companies, thereby making you an essential part of Group strategyYou lead and support M&A transactions (e.g. buy/sell-sides, investments, partnerships) across all phases – from origination to integrationYou perform in-depth financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence assessments and are involved in the subsequent negotiation and structuring of these transactionsYou collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to assess strategic fit and deal rationaleYou identify and analyse new business areas and investment opportunities that are of interest to HeraeusYou prepare and deliver presentations on opportunities, deal progress, and strategic recommendations to Senior Executives, and serve as subject matter expert on M&A topicsYour Profile:Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plusAt least 3-6 years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate M&A, a Big Four, or a strategy advisory firmYou have strong analytical skills and show enthusiasm for financial modelling / analysesYou bring a passion for dealmaking and the ambition to drive growth with a hands-on and entrepreneurial mindsetYou have a proven track record of high performance in dynamic environments, and excel at presenting, and communicating complex analyses to Senior ExecutivesYou thrive working with global cross-functional teams and can manage multiple priorities and deadlinesVery good English skills both written and spoken, knowledge of German is desirableA high willingness to travelWhat we offer:Strong salary package - attractive base salary plus bonus and support for private pension planModern working time arrangements - time sovereignty without time recording, focus on results-oriented workRegular time off - 30 days annual leave plus up to 6 additional days off (company closures on bridge days and between years), special leave for special occasions, life phase account for paid time off (e.g. sabbatical, earlier retirement)Additional benefits - subsidized public transport, discounts in many (online) stores, company medical service with comprehensive preventive medical check-ups, sports facilities and employee canteen with freshly prepared meals every daySustainability and social commitment - sustainability as part of the corporate strategy and targeted support for initiatives in the areas of education, family and science through our own foundationsCurious?
