Your mission with us: As a Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate with the B2C part of the business to monitor financial performance, deliver financial insights, forecast business trends, and conduct analyses to help guide decision-making and strategic planning. In this role, you will both support and challenge the business throughout the learner value chain, ensuring that strategies remain aligned with financial objectives. Your tasks: Analyse product and regional performance, identifying areas for improvement in B2C segments like Demand Generation, Product, Data, Engineering, Teaching, and Curriculum Support OKR owners in setting targets for orders, recurring revenue, and profitability Drive continuous improvement and standardisation within the department, and measure performance against goals Help with strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly updates for revenue, margins, and OPEX Build strong relationships across the B2C value chain to improve information sharing and customer satisfaction Balance different segment perspectives in forecasts, and highlight business drivers, risks, and opportunities Provide insights using data, tools, and processes to produce important financial and operational reports Supply regular business reports on agreed KPIs to ensure visibility and accountability for results Maintain and improve reporting to create transparency and offer better insights, recommending strategies to management Ensure financial accuracy at the market and regional levels in line with accounting standards Strengthen relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear communication on financial matters Develop performance metrics that support decision-making across the B2C organisation You bring to Lingoda: Successful completion of a degree in Business, Finance, or a similar field At least 3-5 years of experience in sales controlling in an international Tech, eCommerce or Logistics company Proficiency in English (C1) and willingness to learn one of Lingoda’s languages (B1 level) Experience in working with MS Office / G-Suite  Knowledge of Business Intelligence products (Tableau) You possess strong communication skills, the ability to challenge the status quo and yourself, and work effectively as a team player You demonstrate strong numerical skills, analytical thinking, and business acumen You have a structured approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously You add to our culture with: You are comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment You are eager to be part of a dynamic team that values open communication You are able to work with enthusiasm for Lingoda's mission and perform well under pressure What you can expect from Lingoda: Approachable leaders and transparent communication - every voice counts at Lingoda Company events and colleagues who are always happy to socialise + budgets towards team building events An inclusive environment with great team spirit and passion for languages A well-structured and exciting onboarding process to set you up for success The possibility to work remotely from your home or in the office located in the heart of Berlin Education funds because we want to see our people grow Free access to our language classes Mental Health programs Corporate benefits & pension funds 28 vacation days per year Free snacks & drinks at the office The modern hardware necessary for your work (n/a for freelancers) Flexible working hours
