We want you to join the Wella R&D family on an exciting journey through exciting challenges and opportunities as we become an independent, winning Wella again THE ROLE As part of our Wella R&D Organization you will work in the Analytical team in close collaboration with other functions, integrated in the innovation process for hair color, perm as well as hair care or nail products. Your main responsibility will be to lead the analytical work for registration of oxidative hair color and perm products for the Asian market. You will develop and validate methods, generate analytical data and registration dossiers and assure compliance of methods and products with regulatory standards. Besides that, you will collaborate within the analytical team in the area of chromatography and conducting experiments that are crucial for new product development, toxicological assessments, and quality assurance of Wella products. Responsible for analytical work supporting product registrations of oxidative hair color and perm products for the Asian market, with a focus on Japan Performs and oversees HPLC and wet chemistry analyses Technical coaching and supervision of laboratory technicians conducting analytical procedures Compiles and summarizes analytical results into regulatory registration dossiers Develops and optimizes new analytical methods in compliance with Japanese regulations Engages in discussions with regulatory authorities and responds to inquiries Collaborates closely with the internal Regulatory Affairs department Contributes to broader analytical projects within the team Conducts complex chromatographic experiments and method validations Ensures adherence to QA standards and proper documentation of analytical work Partners with external service providers WHAT YOU’LL BRING Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field and 3-5 years professional experience or PhD in a relevant field.
