Description We are seeking a Fibre Design Coordinator for our offices in Germany. As a Fibre Design Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in understanding project engineering requirements from a telecom perspective and coordinating with customers and construction teams, primarily in German, to bridge any process or technical gaps. This position demands excellent communication abilities in both German and English to effectively engage with customers and project teams. Under general guidance, you will be accountable for complex tasks typically relating to network monitoring, operations, installation, and/or maintenance for local, off-site, and/or remote locations. Your efforts will contribute to achieving daily objectives that significantly impact the area. Your tasks will generally be routine, with occasional deviations from standard practices. You will work under moderate supervision for regular tasks and may consult more experienced colleagues in the same field. In the Supervisor's absence, you may assume a lead role, but without ongoing lead responsibilities. This role Typically requires four to eight years of network experience and continuing education network/telecom courses/technical seminars. Travel to Cyient or customer offices may be necessary depending on business requirements. Language Requirements:  Expert level in German and English Key Responsibilities: Communicate with customers primarily in German, both via email and verbal communication, while interacting with project teams in English. Gain a deep understanding of fibre technology and its applications within the telecommunications industry. Familiarise oneself with the technology environment within German Telco experience to better align project deliverables and requirements. Proactively identify and address technical and process-related challenges, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving. Maintain excellent communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity in all interactions. Collaborate effectively within hybrid and offshore teams, fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and agility in approach. Qualifications and Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken German and English is essential. Previous experience or knowledge of fibre technology and telecommunications industry practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address challenges before they escalate. Team player with a collaborative approach to work, comfortable working in diverse and distributed teams. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
