Mechanical Design Engineer

Your RoleWe’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who loves solving real engineering challenges in a top notch power electronics product.In this role, you’ll own the mechanical design and integration of our modular multilevel inverter product, developing clever, space-efficient, and cost-effective solutions that make our hardware robust and production-ready. You’ll collaborate closely with our electrical and system engineers from early concept to final prototype - iterating fast, testing ideas, and learning from every build.If you’re someone who thinks with your hands as much as with your head, enjoys figuring out how things fit together, and thrives in a dynamic R&D environment - we’d love to meet you.Your missionDesign, prototype, and refine mechanical parts and assemblies for our electronic productsWork closely with electrical and system engineers to ensure mechanical and electronic designs integrate seamlesslyDevelop thermal management solutions for high-power systems - balancing performance, cost, and compactnessBuild and test prototypes, analyze results, and iterate rapidly based on feedback and dataCollaborate with manufacturing partners to prepare designs for scalable, cost-effective productionDocument insights, share lessons learned, and contribute to improving our design process and standardsYour profileDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field2-5 years of experience in mechanical design for electronics or electro-mechanical productsStrong skills in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) and familiarity with thermal simulation toolsExperience with thermal design principles, heat sinks, and cooling methods (passive or active)Hands-on mindset - you feel comfortable building, testing, and iteratingKnowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM principlesExperience with rapid prototyping, electronics packaging, or hardware startups is considered a plusA team player who enjoys working in cross-functional setupsA reflective problem-solver - you learn from every prototype and aren’t afraid to challenge assumptionsYou’re energized by ambiguity and enjoy turning early ideas into solid, testable designsAbout usWe make energy storage stable and secure the future of energy.
