Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to join our versatile, international team and to take charge of project management and technical writing. Your Tasks Manage external funded projects, overseeing time, cost, quality, and risk while ensuring alignment with the other departments, budget, and milestone targetsDevelop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress, documenting key milestones, and providing updates through reports and presentationsLead the work and coordination between RFA internal teams and partners for external funded projects, ensuring effective communication between internal and external stakeholdersSupport the Finance Departmenet preparing financial reporting for external funded projectsTake charge of technical writing and preparing project deliverables with external customers ( ESA, governmental institutions) on-time, on-quality and on-budgetContribute to the technical work of the predevelopment team, including the creation of development roadmaps for future vehicles and technologies, mission and technical requirements, design studies and trade-offs, creation of system architectures, etc.Contribute to proposal writing for funded projects Your QualificationsBachelor's degree or Master's degree in Aerospace, Space Engineering or similar disciplineWork experience in project management in the space industry is a plusKnowledge of European/German/Bavarian funding programs and proposal processes (FLPP, ELC, RaFo-Bayern, etc.) is a plusGreat listener that is able to simultaneously push the team forwardAble to thrive in uncertainty and provide organization and structure where neededStrong technical affinity and enthusiasm for New Space Strong writing and formatting skills with excellent command of Microsoft OfficeBusiness-fluent English, both spoken and written (all day-to-day activities are conducted in English)German fluency is highly desirable due to the need for communication with external German stakeholdersStrong time management, a team-player attitude, and emotional intelligenceDemonstrated independence, proactivity, and structured approach to workStrong cost and risk awareness with a business-oriented mindset We offer Atmosphere: Experience life in an international & dynamic New Space start-up Flexibility: Fit your working schedule to your needs with flexible working hours Home Office: Full-time employees benefit from 1 day per week home office Health: Sweat, stretch or squat it out with WellPass, a training app which connects you to thousands of gyms and studios Paid Time Off: 30 days annual leave and special leave days RFA Family: Join our regular company and team events and become part of the RFA family Parking: Free parking for your car and your bike This is the perfect opportunity to take on an exciting new challenge and be part of the leading private company in the new European space race.
