DevOps Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes

Your missionYour Responsibilities Implementing best practices for automation, scalability, and system reliability on high-traffic web applications hosted with kubernetesSupporting in maintaining customer infrastructure across Kubernetes upgrades and software supply chain changesParticipating in continuous improvement processes, with a focus on supporting full-stack developers managing complex deployments (in development environment)Supporting freshcells adopt and implement DevOps and MLOps best practices:  In this position, you will have up to 25% of your working time for learning and experimenting, based on the needs and direction of freshcellsYour profileYour QualificationsExpertise with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)Expertise with helm, including writing and maintaining custom Helm chartsHands-on experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform or similar)Experience running production workloads on KubernetesExperience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with GitOps and continuous delivery tools such as flux CDSolid understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (ideally Terraform)Familiarity with linux, shell scripting and/or PythonExperience with observability, understanding how to set up and use logging, metrics, tracing, alertingExperience with creating machine learning pipelines or willingness to learn it on the jobFluency in EnglishNice to haveExperience with on-call dutyExperience with data engineering, MLOps and training AI workloads, metaflowExperience with Argo CD, Argo workflowsExperience with SQL databases and RedisWhy us?freshcells systems engineering GmbH is a software service provider based in Düsseldorf with a dynamic team of over 50 creative experts from various disciplines.
