Job Description Role SummaryAs Vice President Indirect Procurement, you will lead and develop MANN+HUMMEL’s global indirect procurement function, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Reporting directly to the Group CPO, you will work closely with cross-functional leadership teams. As a key member of the Procurement Leadership Team (PLT), you will actively contribute to strategic decision-making and transformation initiatives.Your Challenge:Lead and advance the global indirect procurement function, including strategy development, policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management.Manage, mentor, and develop an international high-performing team (~40 direct and indirect reports), fostering talent growth and knowledge sharing.Oversee sourcing activities across multiple indirect spend categories to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and innovation.Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and long-term value creation.Negotiate global agreements and purchasing contracts with key suppliers to mitigate risks and secure sustainable value.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and balance cost, quality, and risk. Drive the implementation of digital procurement platforms and process automation to enhance operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with corporate policies, sustainability standards, and regulatory requirements.Own and manage the procurement budget, define KPIs, and implement reporting mechanisms to monitor performance and compliance.Identify and realize cost-saving and cash optimization opportunities across the organization.Your Profile:Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement leadership roles, with a focus on indirect commodities.ExpertiseStrong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.Experience with digital procurement tools, analytics, and process automation.Proven track record of delivering cost savings and value creation in complex, global environments.Proven experience in leading senior managers and leadership teams across multiple regions and time zones, fostering collaboration and alignment in a global environment.Language Skills: Fluent in English (negotiation level); additional languages are a plus.PersonalityExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.Willingness to travel internationally.Strategic mindset with a drive for transformation and continuous improvement.Diversity and inclusion are part of our DNA.
