The Work You'll Do: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Embedded Solution Architect to lead our most strategic ISV and embedded partner engagements. In this senior position, you will define integration strategy, shape technical direction for key partnerships, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders—both internally and within partner organisations. Operating as a senior leader within the Embedded Technical Management team, you will combine deep technical expertise with strong relationship leadership. You will guide solution architecture for complex partner integrations, support revenue growth through co-sell activity, and influence the evolution of Sovos’ embedded product ecosystem. More specifically, you will: Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership Lead technical discovery and architecture for strategic ISV partners Design scalable integrations using APIs, webhooks, cloud-native and event-driven patterns Produce clear solution designs covering architecture, compliance and implementation Establish integration governance, quality standards and testing frameworks Partner & Stakeholder Leadership Act as principal technical advisor for high-value embedded partners Build strong relationships with partner Product, Engineering and Compliance teams Deliver executive-level briefings and strategic reviews Support pre-sales, co-sell motions and partner growth initiatives Operational & Product Influence Oversee resolution of high-impact technical or compliance issues Guide partner performance, risk management and integration health Provide market and partner feedback to inform product roadmap Contribute to internal best practices and mentor fellow architects What We Need From You: Technical Expertise 10+ years in enterprise software, ERP/tax tech, consulting or solution architecture Strong experience designing enterprise integrations (REST APIs, webhooks, cloud patterns) Understanding of tax compliance, e-invoicing or regulated SaaS environments (advantageous) Familiarity with SaaS ecosystems and modern software architectures Partnership & Leadership Skills Experience supporting ISVs, embedded partnerships or pre-sales engineering Ability to engage and influence senior and C-level stakeholders Strong communication skills, able to simplify technical topics for business audiences Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives What Does Sovos Offer You?
