Intern European Private Credit (f/m/d) In this role, you will support the structuring and execution of private equity-led mid-market debt transactions across the DACH and Nordics regions, contributing to Allianz Global Investors’ continued expansion of its European Private Credit platform. You’ll be part of a pan-European team of twelve Investment Professionals located in Munich, Paris, London, and Rotterdam – three of whom are based in Munich. This position is based in our Munich office. We’re looking to hire a candidate for Q1 2026. What you will do Conduct in-depth analysis of target companies, sectors, business models, and market environmentsReview and interpret due diligence reportsBuild financial models and perform sensitivity analysesPrepare investment committee presentations and company profilesSupport the creation of marketing and investor materials. What you bring Enrollment in a Master’s program or advanced Bachelor’s studies in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative disciplineStrong academic performanceExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailDemonstrated interest in financial markets, private equity, and M&AAbility to work diligently under time pressureStrong team orientation and collaborative mindsetProficiency in MS Office, especially ExcelAbility to conduct independent researchFluency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plusPrevious internship experience in Investment Banking (Leveraged Finance, M&A, Debt Advisory), Private Credit/Direct Lending, Private Equity, or Transaction Services is a strong advantage.
