Manager - Procurement and Value Creation

Your mission As a Manager, you'll work closely with clients to manage consultancy teams to drive savings and transform procurement functions through excellent procurement. Confident leading a team, you will manage all aspects of client relationships and you'll relish a big challenge. Most of all, you'll need to be energetic and highly motivated with the passion to achieve outstanding results.  You should have a passion for procurement and proven experience leading cost optimization and transformation programs. Experience working within a multi-national environment is desired. You will be expected to be able to take a lead role in the design, organization and development of procurement operating models for clients, including organizational design, team development and digital tools.  As well as managing projects, you will be involved in all aspects of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial management consultancy including business development, practice development and building leading-edge methodologies to support client services. We are looking for ambitious people with the ability to become partners in the business. Your responsibilities will include:Managing and leading consultancy projectsManaging senior client relationships Managing a variety of stakeholders, at all levelsManaging high-performing consulting teams and individualsImplementation of cost improvement and procurement transformation programsConducting key supplier negotiationsSupporting, coaching and delivering all aspects of procurement cost reduction; from spend analysis to sourcing to contract implementationSupporting business development, practice development and methodology development Your profile Our Managers bring a range of skills to the H&Z team. Ideally you will have:Project leadership with a recognized UK consultancy (essential)Leading value optimization/change programs (within a procurement environment)Strong category knowledge ideally, within a multi-national environmentAn excellent degreeAt least five years' experience of corporate consultancy Background of personally delivering procurement outcomes across direct and indirect spend areasStrong analytical skills and enjoy solving complex problemsProject management skillsetTeam management experience Passion for solving complex problemsClear understanding of procurementExcellent client management and relationship building skillsExcellent communication skillsGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPointGreat people skills and able to work hard as part of a teamAbility to work well under pressureFluent in English, with another European language as an advantageDesire to play a key role in developing a growing procurement consultancy What do we offer you?
