You will be helping to grow a small team specialized in social-network investigation while still working closely with the engineers and architects who brought Maltego to life. Your mission in our technology team is to bring Maltego to the next level by building a world class tool and infrastructure.What to expectIn this role, you will:Work on the most in-depth social media crawlers used in law-enforcement investigations around the world to fight crime by gathering indisputable evidenceTake ownership over selected social network crawling modules by implementing novel data collection procedures and reverse engineering APIsStay up to date with the open source community on how to extract relevant information from websites and social networksImprove the automated testing suite of our crawlersContribute to our Django backend development or even frontend development, as well as our open source libraries on pypi, if you want to expand your technical breadthYour profile in shortDegree in computer science or similar subjects 3+ years of working experience preferably in PythonExperience in web-crawling using selenium or other similar toolsDeep understanding of overall web-technology landscape (you should be able to put words like Ajax, GraphQL, ProtoBuf, JQuery or CORS into the right categories) Experience in the design and implementation of Web APIs, and usage of GraphQL desiredExperience in building and maintaining CI pipelines using Gitlab-CI or similar applications like Jenkins or GithubExcellent communication in English, German is a big plusInterested in test development and clean code principlesRegular user of social networks and understand their fundamental mechanicsWhy you will love MaltegoMaltego is a scale-up company.
