We promote a culture of learning and facilitate further development to develop the full potential of our specialists.About the Role:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with global chemical regulations, supporting business operations, and contributing to regulatory strategy and foresight. You will work across regions and functions, providing expert guidance on chemical safety, regulatory submissions, and product stewardship.The following challenges await you:In your role as Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist you will conduct impact assessments for chemical and related regulations.Provide regulatory foresight and monitor emerging legislation.You will work with industry associations to align with regulatory developments and handle EU notifications of chemicals and chemical productsFurthermore, you manage chemical registrations in the globally but with particular focus on EMEAIYour responsibilities will also include using IUCLID, REACH-IT, and other regulatory platforms for submissions and maintaining regulatory data in SAP and other IT systemsYou will handle customer queries and support our Operating Companies with regulatory issues, ideally advising these on toxicological and ecotoxicological matters.Last but not least, you have extensive experience in the use of project management tools and MS Office.Your Profile:Master’s or bachelor’s Degree in Inorganic Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.Familiarity with EU regulations is a must and additionally in non-EU regulations (e.g., TSCA, K-REACH, etc.) is an advantageProficiency in SAP, MS Office, and regulatory IT toolsExperience with IUCLID, REACH-IT, and CLP notificationsConfident use of MS Office applications, SAP knowledge desirableExpertise in CLP, GHS, and Dangerous Goods regulations is an advantageHands-on SDS authoring experience would be an advantageFluent written and spoken skills in German and EnglishWhat we offer: Attractive compensation - strong base salary combined with additional benefitsAdditional financial benefits - support for private pension plans, life-phase accounts for paid leave (e.g. sabbaticals, early retirement), public transport subsidies, discounts in many (online) shopsModern organisation of working time - possibility of mobile working (by agreement), focus on results-oriented workHealth and well-being - company medical service with comprehensive check-ups, sports facilities, social counselling and company canteen with freshly prepared meals every day.Sustainability and social commitment - sustainability as part of our corporate strategy and targeted support for education, family and science initiatives through our own foundations.Curious?
