For permanent employment OHB System AG in Oberpfaffenhofen  is looking for aSenior Mechanism Engineer (m/f/d) Your Tasks Define and analyze technical specifications and develop design concepts for demanding mechanisms and control systems to be operated in space environmentCoordinate design, development, integration and testing activities with other engineering disciplines and technical managers (Optics, Mechanical, Structural, Thermal and Electrical Engineering)Lead and/or support internal and subcontractor meetings, offers, cost estimates and internal department development projectsContinuously monitor compliance to technical requirements, budgets and specifications throughout the development processTake part in planning of manufacturing, assembly and testing (MAIT) of mechanisms and mechatronic systemsAs a key person of the department, anticipate and, if necessary, find solutions and remedy non-compliant disruptions or unexpected problems in all ongoing development projects of the departmentAdvance and develop design processes and tools as well as core competencies and activation of technologies in the departmentBe responsible for the flow-down of technical requirements and budgets from higher-level specifications to mechatronic subsystemsSupport the definition and specification of interfaces, generate interface control documentsSelect mechanical and mechatronic components (actuators, sensors etc.)Evaluate external subcontractor proposals and identify, select and monitor subcontractorsReport concisely to the customer and to the project team Your QualificationsUniversity degree in mechanical engineering, robotics, aerospace engineering or comparable qualificationLong-time of professional experience in the field of space mechanismsSound knowledge in the field of mechanisms technologies with expertise in conceptual mechanisms modelling and simulationExpertise in Vacuum- and/or Space-TribologyExperience with relevant design and quality guidelines and standards (ECSS-E/Q)Experience in management and monitoring of subcontractorsVery good communication skills and conflict resolution skillsWell-structured way of workingGood knowledge in technical leadership of employees We offer Work Life Balance: Flexible working hours, sabbatical, 30 days vacation & special leave days Mobile Work: Hybrid work & mobile work abroad Structured on-boarding process (incl.
