Your Tasks: Discovery of novel muscular dystrophy-associated genes molecular mechanisms by latest state-of-the-art OMICs techniques, in particular long-read RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics Characterization of mouse models to investigate the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms leading to muscular dystrophy Development of novel antisense oligonucleotides for exon skipping therapy of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in-vitro and mdx mice models Development of protein quantification techniques including mass spectrometry Working in collaboration with an international team under supervision and leadership of the PI Publishing impactful original research papers We Offer: Your salary will be based on qualification and experience including benefits according to TV-L.
