Your Responsibilities

As an Energy Data Analyst you will work closely with product managers, data scientists and software engineers on analyzing and improving our product. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Product Performance Analytics: Analyze and interpret data related to the performance of our Virtual Power Plant algorithms, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. 
  • Market Insights: Leverage your expertise in energy markets to deliver critical insights across the organization, guiding decision-making and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Product Vision: Collaborate closely with product managers to evaluate potential new product ideas, ensuring alignment with market demands and providing data-driven insights to shape our product roadmap.
  • Strategic Thinking: Translate product & market insights into actionable recommendations, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and maintain dashboards, automating analytics tools to streamline data insights across the organization and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Effective Communication: Deliver compelling presentations to internal teams and external partners, showcasing the value of our solutions.
Your Profile
  • Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or similar quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a data analyst, data science or researcher role within the energy sector.
  • Understanding of Energy Markets, concepts of Virtual Power Plant and Home Energy Management Systems is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis methodologies, python programming language and software development best practices. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, and ability to handle multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional setting.
