They are a distributed team and work to use that to their advantage for customer success and life balance.Key responsibilitiesGuide a team on large and strategic solutions for high-profile opportunitiesDrive architectural service executions such as Discovery and AssessmentCollaborate with business and non-technical stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and communicate technical constraints and decisions to businessFacilitate cooperation of all the stakeholders, define and prioritize architectural drivers for the solutionCooperate with other architects and technology experts to produce solid architectural decisionsDrive and coordinate technical staff discussionsElaborate system quality attributes such as performance, scalability, availability, fault-tolerance, security, deployment, maintainability, and othersTranslate customers’ business, functional, and non-functional requirements into high-quality solution architecture visions and operations plans consistent with enterprise architectural standards using Attribute-Driven DesignDefine architecture strategies, standards, processes, technologies, and tools in architectural visionsDrive or assist in solution implementation, estimation, and roadmap constructionAnalyze, model, document, and assess existing software architectures according to the Architecture Trade-off Analysis methodologyAct as an expert and consult development teams on adherence to standards in solution design, development, and testingClearly convey technical ideas to the development and operations teamsRequirementsExperienced with some IoT-relevant technologies: MQTT brokers, embedded programming, distributed systems, microservices architecture, infrastructure automation, edge processing, fleet observability, or wireless communicationsSuccessfully working with software and hardware lifecyclesStrong in object-oriented softwareConfident in leading or mentoring a technical teamExperienced in recognizing architectural patterns and solutions associated with those patternsUnderstanding tradeoffs between IoT offerings from the cloud and other IoT solution vendorsProfessional with SEI Software Architecture and ATAFHaving publication(s) in the field of IoT cloud or devices, formal or informalKnowledgeable of Linux OS (ARM and x86)Familiar with hypervisorsProficient with hardware root of trust and PKIHands-on with applying network theory and wireless communicationsCompetent in infrastructure automation toolsA Certified Professional from at least one cloud providerPossessing excellent communication skills, including fluency in German, and an upper-intermediate level in EnglishBenefitsHave access to 11,300+ learning solutions with Udemy BusinessExtend your skillset and gain practical experience Help you with your individual initiatives - we are open to them, just come and share your ideasCare for your wellness with a health insurance package
