Battery Assembly Electrician

Your missionAs a Battery Assembly Electrician/Technician (all genders) at VÆRIDION, you will play a crucial role in the prototyping, assembly, testing, and maintenance of aircraft propulsion battery systems. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Lead Manufacturing Engineer, and will be responsible for the physical and functional integration of battery components, including battery management system electronics, thermal management, and battery cells. Your daily tasks will encompass a variety of technical activities within the battery manufacturing team. You will face new challenges daily and will be entrusted with significant responsibility and autonomy, always supported by your team.Your Day-to-DayAssemble and manufacture low-voltage and high-voltage battery components and assemblies.Manage inventory of parts, tools, and equipment.Troubleshoot and report defects to the appropriate teams.Document manufacturing data in the production system.Collaborate with the research and development team to enhance processes, equipment, tooling, and repair solutions.Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all assembled components meet the required standards and specifications.Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols during the assembly process.Identify and address any quality issues promptly to prevent defects and ensure high-quality output.Your profileCompleted training as an electronics technician, electrician, mechatronics, mechanic, or a comparable qualification.Extensive experience in manufacturing and/or repairing electromechanical components.Proficiency in the safe handling of medium and high voltage systems up to 1kV direct current.Initial experience with high power battery systems or a strong willingness to learn.Familiarity with modern production machinery or a high willingness to learn.Ability to interpret engineering documentation and follow instructions in English.Welding experience, particularly in laser, ultrasonic, or spot welding, is highly advantageous.Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.Proven ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple simultaneous tasks.Positive and optimistic attitude with a collaborative approach in a multicultural team, adhering to company rules and values.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in another European language is a plusPassionate about aviation and the electrification of the aviation industry.Why us?Be part of an ambitious team determined to shape the future of aviation.We are an in-office company, but we value flexibility and trust employees to manage their schedules responsibly.
