The Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI researches and develops special problem solutions at the interface of medicine, biosciences and engineering. One of its main tasks is contract research for biotechnological, pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, clinics, diagnostic laboratories and research institutions. What you will do Are you looking for an opportunity for an internship during your studies or an orientation internship? At our institute, our employees delve into exciting projects and develop individual products and services for our clients, primarily from the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. At our external site in Rostock, the focus is on the development of new diagnostic and treatment procedures in the field of Extracorporeal Therapy Systems. What you bring to the table You are enthusiastic about scientific or technical topics and are studying in the area of life sciences, medicine or engineering. Ideally, you have already gained some experience through internships, vacation jobs or working student positions in the field you are interested in, but this is not a must. In any case, please include a short cover letter with your application in which you explain your motivation for an internship at the Fraunhofer IZI. You are confident in communicating in German and/or English and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team. Your way of working is characterized by reliability and you approach new challenges with curiosity, independence and flexibility.
