We deliver the graphene solutionThe RoleThis role is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of the site’s electrical infrastructure, from 10 kV incoming power down to office and manufacturing distribution levels. The position oversees cabling, metering, motors, UPS systems, and panel boards, while supporting equipment and maintenance engineers with electrical expertise. A key focus is maintaining high system uptime, monitoring power quality, and ensuring strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsTo join our team, you should be excited toOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot the power distribution systems starting at 10kV incoming power to office and manufacturing power levelsEnsure uptime and availability of all electrical systems for the siteOversees cabling system, metering circuits, motors, UPSSupport equipment engineers and equipment maintenance Engineers regarding their electrical systemsOperates and program panelboards for fab, facilities and office areasEstablish and maintain safety policies, following all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs and compliance to regulationsKnowledgeable in power monitoring and power quality requirementsYour QualificationsTechnical training or FH degree, plus certification as Elektrofachkraft with low- and medium-voltage switching authorizationProven experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting power distribution systems from 10 kV down to facility and manufacturing levelsStrong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including cabling systems, metering circuits, motors, UPS, panelboards, and power-quality monitoringExperience in semiconductor or chemical-plant environments, with solid understanding of safety regulations and EHSS complianceMandatory proficiency in German and English for documentation, communication, and coordination across teamsOur work culturePeople Over Processes. At Black Semiconductor, flexibility is key—we ensure work adapts to life, not the other way around.
