Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our Global Records and Information Management Organization (GRO) team. In this critical client facing role, you will be responsible for driving organic growth by exclusively acquiring new, large enterprise customers in Germany and owning the entire sales cycle from strategic prospecting to deal closure. This role sits within Iron Mountain's Global Records and Information Management Organization (GRO), a revenue-driving commercial organization that focuses on developing, selling, and supporting solutions for customers in our regions. What You'll Do In this role, you will: Proactively Secure New Logos: Identify, prospect, and secure net new enterprise clients within defined priority sectors in Germany, consistently meeting and exceeding new business quotas. Develop and Sell Tailored Solutions: Build deep, consultative relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders to lead the development and sale of tailored Information Management solutions, translating complex requirements into compelling value propositions. Ensure Effective Collaboration and Delivery: Partner effectively with internal teams, such as Solutions, Operations, and Legal, to ensure seamless solution design and delivery, contributing significantly to revenue and margin growth. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate will have: Substantial Experience as a New Business Hunter: Proven, direct sales experience with a consistent track record of acquiring new, large enterprise accounts within complex sales cycles. Strong Knowledge of Solution Selling: Expertise in strategic new business hunting, solution selling methodologies, and developing solutions that map to intricate customer requirements. Proven Ability in C-Level Engagement: Demonstrated capacity to build influence and foster strong relationships with senior-level (C-suite) customer stakeholders. Mandatory Language Fluency: Fluency in German and English is essential for effective client and internal collaboration.
