About the Role

As a Mechatronics Engineer at SEW USOCOME, you will be responsible for the independent maintenance, installation, repair, and upgrade of crane systems and lifting equipment. Your tasks will include troubleshooting crane systems, conducting statutory inspections, and creating related documentation. You will also be responsible for designing and manufacturing mechanical and electrical components, such as brackets and control panels, and managing spare parts inventory. Additionally, you will contribute to the digitalization of inspection processes.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have completed a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with an additional qualification in electrical engineering. You must also have proof of competence to conduct inspections on crane systems and lifting equipment, or be willing to obtain this certification. Furthermore, you will need to have experience in the installation or upgrade of new crane systems and in conducting retrofits. A valid driver's license (Class B) is also required.
