About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Director to join our team. As a Strategic Account Director, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients in the renewable energy sector. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth, maximizing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the successful implementation of our end-to-end renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue from key accounts in the renewable energy sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and drive cross-selling and up-selling activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, project management, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of projects and exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess customer satisfaction, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Monitor and analyze key account metrics, such as sales performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability, and take appropriate actions to achieve targets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely support.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customized marketing materials and campaigns for key accounts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our renewable energy solutions and expand the network of potential clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role within the renewable energy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, and other emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of renewable energy solutions and effectively communicate them to clients.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to handle challenging situations.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
