Job Description

As a Senior DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, securing, and evolving the software deployment and operational IT infrastructure. This includes specifying, configuring, and rolling out IT infrastructure for internal development systems and end-user systems in central Europe.

You will work closely with software development teams to integrate their development and configuration processes and ensure compliance with IT security guidelines such as BSI IT-Grundschutz.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and evolve software deployment and operational IT infrastructure
  • Specify, configure, and roll out IT infrastructure for internal development systems and end-user systems
  • Support strict configuration management process to define and identify baselines of IT systems
  • Assure compliance of systems with IT security guidelines by applying updates, patches, and configurations
Requirements
  • Completed studies in Computer Science or comparable qualification
  • More than 5 years of solid work experience in securely and reliably operating IT systems
  • Good experience in collaborating with software development teams and integrating with their development and configuration processes
  • Knowledge in Jira, Git, Bitbucket, or Nexus
  • Several years of experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code in a Windows environment (e.g., using PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, Baramundi, Ansible)
