Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Chief Financial Officer. As the head of finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, planning, and management. Your expertise will be crucial in driving growth, managing risk, and ensuring the financial health of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies, forecasts, and plans aligned with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to devise long-term strategic initiatives, ensuring their financial viability.
  • Financial Management and Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders, including investors and board members.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control:
    • Lead the budgeting process, including preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Fundraising and Investor Relations:
    • Assist in fundraising efforts, preparing investment materials and engaging with potential investors.
    • Manage relationships with existing investors, providing regular updates on financial performance and business milestones.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Develop and oversee financial risk management policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
    • Strong understanding of corporate finance, fundraising, and investor relations.
    • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
    • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, financial modeling software).
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Competitive Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus equity compensation and a benefits package that reflects the company's commitment to its employees' well-being.
