Financial Planning Specialist: Budget Analysis Expert

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to provide expert insights to our organization.

• Analyze business performance versus budget and forecast, identifying areas for improvement and proposing strategic actions on a regular basis.
• Perform financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize business outcomes.
• Support financial reporting, planning, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and identify trends.
• Evaluate the impact of strategic decisions and optimize performance through automation.

• A minimum of several years of experience in financial planning and analysis, controlling, or a related field.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and other data visualization tools.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and other financial software is an asset.
• You must have a solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Possess excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to various audiences.
