Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Level Designer to join our team at THQ Nordic. As a Level Designer, you will work closely with our Content Designers, Art Director, and other team members to create engaging and immersive levels that blend artistic quality with gameplay design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain levels until release
  • Collaborate with Content Designers, Writers, and Environment Artists to ensure a cohesive and engaging game experience
  • Develop and implement level designs that meet performance and optimization requirements
  • Work closely with the Art Director to ensure consistency in art style and quality
  • Participate in grey-boxing and prototyping to test and refine level designs

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Level Designer in a professional environment, preferably with RTS/RPG games
  • Strong understanding of 3D level editing tools and software
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for real-time strategy and/or roleplaying games
