Our laboratory medicine department is a leading provider of advanced laboratory diagnostics and specialized analytics in the fields of laboratory medicine, microbiology, and human genetics.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (w/m/d) to join our team in the field of Classical Cytogenetics / Chromosome Analysis.
Your Responsibilities
- Establishing cell cultures from amniotic fluid, chorionic villi, blood, and bone marrow
- Preparing chromosome spreads from cell cultures and native chorionic villi, including banding techniques
- Interpreting chromosome preparations using computer-assisted karyotyping systems
- Creating karyograms from banded metaphase plates
- Recording and documenting specimen intake and EDV data
- Participating in internal training sessions as part of our quality management system
Your Profile
- Qualification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (w/m/d) or equivalent
- Flexibility, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, customer orientation, and service orientation
- Good German language skills in writing and speaking
