Business Intelligence Analyst

Are you a student of economics, business informatics, or a related field looking to gain hands-on experience in business intelligence and advanced analytics projects, particularly in purchasing and inventory reporting? We invite you to support our Sourcing Analytics Projects team and apply your knowledge in practice through various tasks for at least 6 months.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will assist our team in setting up reports and key figures relevant to purchasing, such as inventory management, contract coverage, risk analyses, and more.
  • You will also be involved in setting up knowledge management for purchasing applications.
  • Additionally, you will help define, document, and develop key figures and their IBCS-compliant visualization in reports and dashboards.
  • Furthermore, you will support us in our daily business, including testing activities, data verification, and correction assignments.

Your Qualifications

  • Current full-time studies in economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science, or a related field (at least 3rd semester)
  • High IT and numerical affinity, as well as good communication skills
  • Good MS-Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Basic knowledge of SAP BI, VBA is advantageous but not required; we can train you in these tools during your working student job
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
  • Independent working style and quick perception
  • Good German skills and business fluent English skills, both written and spoken
