Mechanical Solutions Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Solutions Specialist to join our team in the office near Mannheim, Germany. As a key member of our Technical Service team, you will provide technical support and training to internal and external customers.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for resolving technical issues related to electrical or mechanical systems, conducting research to validate warranty claims, and communicating effectively with internal and external partners. You will also assist in locating product parts during critical situations and provide guidance and training to customer service representatives and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and Repair: Investigate and resolve complex technical problems related to electrical or mechanical systems.
• Warranty Claims: Conduct research to validate warranty claims and adjust policies as needed.
• Customer Support: Respond to and resolve product and service requests via telephone, email, and in person.
• Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to customer service representatives and external customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A general education degree in a technical field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of combust motors is essential.
• Experience in customer or technical support, preferably within the engine-powered product service industry, is highly desirable.
• Fluency in both English and German is necessary.
• Strong negotiation and problem-resolution skills are required.

Estimated Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
