Project Overview:

K-tronik GmbH is seeking a skilled System Integration Engineer to enhance our capabilities in the radio and communication technology sector. This permanent role involves collaborating with our clients to deliver sophisticated software and system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the production, integration, and delivery of intricate software and system solutions.
  • Devise integration strategies and formulate test cases for advanced IT systems.
  • Plan and conduct integration and testing activities.
  • Track, contain, and report errors during the integration and testing phases.
  • Coordinate efforts with development teams, clients, and technology partners.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in integrating software with communication hardware.
  • Proficient in configuring, commissioning, and maintaining complex IT systems.
  • Familiarity with software/system development and configuration management.
  • Experience with Linux-based IT environments.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, Java, and/or C++.
  • Basic understanding of high-frequency and communications engineering.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to occasional business travel.
  • Additional qualifications that are advantageous:
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent training.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
  • Proficiency in the German language.
