Facility Maintenance Specialist

At World Courier (Deutschland) GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility infrastructure, including maintenance, validation, and qualification of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with departments and external vendors to address maintenance, repair, and installation needs.
  • Develop and enforce workplace safety procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective measures.
  • Manage calibration schedules and review certificates to ensure equipment accuracy.
  • Generate reports to document facility and equipment performance.
  • Propose and implement facilities and equipment changes to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Review facility drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with QA and Engineering to perform temperature mapping and assessment.
  • Train associates on facilities and equipment processes and operations.
  • Support the Branch Manager in budget estimation and follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Broad training in facility maintenance, warehousing, or similar vocations.
  • 2-5 years of directly related experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Desirable:

  • Commercial HVAC experience.
  • Electrical installation experience.
  • Building Management system knowledge.
  • ISO Quality Management or GXP experience.
  • Health and Safety experience.
