Job Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity to work as a Site Process Engineer in Amazon's EU Process Engineering team. As a key member of the operational leadership team, you will drive process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfillment Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on Back to Basics initiatives to identify top opportunities in the Fulfillment Centers (FCs) and implement improvement action plans in close collaboration with local Operations Management teams.
  • Oversee the FC improvement program and set focus on most important areas based on alignment with the FC Senior Leadership team.
  • Dive deep into process performance using available standard reporting or create own data analysis to convert information into tangible improvement plans.
  • Review open Action Plans on weekly basis, engaging FC stakeholders to complete suggested actions and reach desired targets.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Work on Continuous Improvement with the FC to drive network best practice implementation, leveraging local initiative led by local Ops and share them to EU PE for review.
  • Strengthen the framework used to capture and scale FC innovation, ensuring big projects ideas from the FC are captured in the Operating Plan Q1 Project Intake every year.
  • Own the deployment of all EU network initiatives assigned to the FC, making sure they are executed with the right timeline and reaching compliance.
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited institution
  • English and German language proficiency (C1 level)
  • Experience in Operations as Area Manager or comparable experience
  • High proficiency in technical knowledge of at least one Fulfillment process path (Quriosity silvergold certification)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
  • Relevant knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to motivate a team

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
