Night Operations Manager

The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel operations during the night shift. This includes handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and last-minute requests, as well as running the night audit and ensuring all financial records balance for the new day.
Key Responsibilities- Take Charge of Nighttime Operations: Ensure a smooth and efficient night shift by coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams.
- Handle Guest Requests: Respond to guest complaints or incidents and follow up with solutions to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Run Night Audit: Verify all financial records and ensure they balance for the new day.
- Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to keep things running smoothly.
- Ensure Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff throughout the night.
- Hand Over Information: Pass on all important information to the morning team, keeping everyone informed.
- Monitor Inventory: Keep an eye on inventory levels and ensure everything is ready for the next day.
- Experience: Previous experience managing night shifts in hotels or similar environments.
- Leadership: Ability to lead a team and remain calm under pressure.
- Hotel Management Systems: Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera or other PMS).
- Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Guest Service: Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Demeanor: Calm and friendly demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.
