Job Title: Melting Furnace Operator

We are seeking a skilled Melting Furnace Operator to join our team at I. K. Hofmann. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating, charging, cleaning, and performing procedures on shaft melt and dosing furnaces.

• Conducting melt treatment and troubleshooting
• Operating and maintaining shaft melt and dosing furnaces
• Transporting materials, liquid metal, and raw and finished parts using a forklift
• Performing spectral analyses and density index tests
• Replacing wear parts on shaft melt and dosing furnaces
• Recalibrating spectral analysis using control samples

• Technical vocational training is advantageous
• Ability to work in a 3-shift operation and on weekends
• Holding a forklift license is advantageous
• Ability to work systematically and independently with a quick grasp
