At MARKT-PILOT, we're on a quest to set a new standard in the spare parts business. Our software is creating real value for the engineering industry, and we're looking for a talented Platform Engineer to join our team.

As a Platform Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting a secure, efficient infrastructure that supports and scales with our organization's ambitions and developers' needs. You'll innovate with automation and DevOps, enhance collaboration, and guide the integration of cutting-edge technology, all while upholding rigorous standards and managing resources effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities

* Engineer and evolve platform integrations to meet organizational objectives and expand developer capabilities, ensuring scalability and system updates.
* Champion platform security and compliance, mentoring in best practices and overseeing adherence to regulatory standards.
* Innovate and implement DevOps and automation frameworks across teams to propel platform management and operational excellence.
* Construct and maintain robust monitoring and logging systems to enhance platform stability and handle dynamic workloads.
* Develop documentation and standardization strategies to foster knowledge sharing, optimize resource use, and integrate cutting-edge tech solutions

Your Skills and Qualifications

* A degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable education, along with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Platform engineer in complex infrastructure environments.
* Strong proficiency in programming and system-level scripting languages, along with a deep familiarity with development processes and tools such as Git, linting, and testing frameworks.
* Extensive experience in containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes to manage application deployment across varied environments efficiently.
* Proven track record of designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
* Well-versed in Linux/*NIX system administration and networking, capable of configuring and troubleshooting complex networked systems effectively.
* Practical expertise in building and managing scalable, distributed systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.
* Ambitious, motivated, pay attention to details, question the status quo, and continuously develop yourself further.
