Project Manager Job Description

About the Role:

Tata Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and own project definition and end-to-end delivery activities within the Manufacturing Engineering domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end delivery of the project from technical, administrative, and customer expectations management fronts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project teams across geographies to ensure project execution excellence
  • Ensure adherence to customer KPIs and take proactive decisions to identify deviations and fix issues
  • Develop customer connections and represent Tata Technologies at customer interaction forums
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure information collection, collation, and synthesis for project delivery
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure project quality standards
  • Manage project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other project-related documentation
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project team to ensure motivation and effective working towards project goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in aerospace project management with a track record of successful project deliveries
  • Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards, regulations, safety, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • PMP certification is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to apply and adapt Agile tools and techniques based on project complexity
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and methods, along with associated systems and constituent value streams
