Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team at Yalwa GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing our high-traffic web applications within a LAMP environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain production infrastructure, including configuration management, troubleshooting, software updates, and improvements.
- Monitor all systems, including Nagios and email/SMS notifications.
- Administer databases and web servers, preferably MySQL and Apache/Nginx.
- Analyze system performance, security, and capacity.
- Participate in rotational on-call duty.
- Develop expertise in KVM/libvirt-based Linux virtualization.
- Familiarize yourself with build and provisioning tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Create and maintain relevant documentation.
- Experience in information security, data privacy, programming (Python), and networking is beneficial.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 5 years of relevant work experience aligned with the job description.
- Strong ability to work independently and with a structured approach.
- Proficiency in English.
