PCI Pharma Services is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Clinical Operations to lead our logistics and supply chain efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating logistics, warehousing, clinical supply packaging and labelling activities within our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise the Clinical Operations department, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), client-specific requirements, and applicable government regulations.
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure high quality and efficient packaging and labelling operations of clinical supplies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve internal and external customer expectations.
- Represent the logistics management and packaging department during regulatory and safety audits.
- Develop and train direct reports to maximize their performance and professional advancement.
- Manage the preparation and organization of all packaging documentation, ensuring compliance with GMPs, SOPs and client-specific requirements.
- Ensure continuous optimisation of processes and required production and quality control documentation is complete and signed off by responsible personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience.
- Knowledge of GMP and GDP regulations.
- Experience in operating ERP systems, ideally JDE (Oracle).
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Business fluency in English and German.
- High flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Technical aptitude and analytical approach with attention to detail.
