About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician (m/w/d) to join our team in the field. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on military vehicles and systems, including diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repair work on military vehicles and systems, including diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components
- Provide technical advice and support to customers
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and documentation (performance reports, defect reports, status reports, etc.)
- Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, workshop equipment, and test equipment
- Completed technical education in the field of automotive or mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of vehicle construction, preferably in the field of heavy trucks, construction and agricultural machinery, or automotive engineering
- Experience with diagnostic systems
- Valid driver's license (Class C)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English and possibly other foreign languages
