Job Description:
- As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing client accounts and acting as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the account.
- You will work closely with management and junior staff to ensure the quality of work delivered to clients, reviewing and submitting work products for senior-level review.
- Alter Domus values the unique talents and personality of each team member, and as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the technical coaching of junior staff, working with the manager to plan and implement the production process.
- You will also have the opportunity to attend training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in the setup of funds and implement complex international structures as part of restructuring plans, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Coordinate with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries to set up funds.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of funds, following up with third parties, including investors and clients.
- Handle the company's accounts and collaborate in the preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for the company's entities.
- Review financial statements and consolidated accounts, coordinating audits.
- Organize and participate in board meetings and shareholders' meetings.
- Review tax returns and tax balances, maintaining relevant contacts with tax authorities.
- Respond to clients' requests regarding tax planning in collaboration with external tax advisors, if needed.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting and Finance or Economics.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in domiciliation or audit.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of French or German considered an asset).
- Team spirit, ability to build strong client relationships, and take initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate.
