About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at Friedhelm Loh Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing of shipments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and execute logistics operations, including transportation and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as carriers and suppliers, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Monitor and analyze logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including VDI 2700.
Requirements
- Relevant education and experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in a logistics or warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of logistics processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP R/3 MM.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, as required.
